When planning a gap year its worth considering paid work or volunteer work, so if you want to make money on your gap year, then it's worth considering a paid work opportunity, or if you have a healthy bank balance and want to do something meaningful then volunteering is the way to go. There are many organisation that offer gap year programmes for paid work and volunteering projects, if you're considering a gap year, visit the BUNAC website or google "gap year BUNAC".

When i started my primary i was 7. It's the age of starting primary in lithuania, and there all children goes to school alone. From 5 they are going to play with a friends outside alone. The parents is bringing child usually just on 1 of september when autumn term starts. Actually you don't see there so many smoking children like here in UK. Some schools is baning children from the school for all the time if anybody tells that seen child with school uniform and cigarete in his mount. The kids is not so silly than sometimes you may think!

I must commend Ben's reccomendations - I've been to several of the above with my two teenagers and they are all perfectly suited to them. Of course the likes of Courchevel are going to be expensive but theres plenty on offer in say Les Deux Alpes for a fraction of the price. Great article by James and Ben.
