Four of our boys, H Kelly, M Evans, P Bamforth and J Softly have been selected as finalists for the National Science and Engineering competition to be held in Birmingham. Their project ‘Tyre pressure up CO2 down’ has generated a lot of interest both in the commercial and political world. The boys have just given a presentation to Zac Goldsmith who said he “was hugely impressed by the professional presentation and the idea.” Later this month,Vince Cable will also be visiting the boys and in March they will be giving a presentation to Maria Eagle at the House of Commons.
This is a demanding but very exciting time for the team
