It was smiles all round last month as our leaving Year 8s, many of whom have been at St Aubyns since Reception, were congratulated on their many achievements during the course of the year. Every pupil achieved results to be proud of including many Scholarship awards including two Academic, two Art, three Drama, two Music and one all-round category.
It is part of the role of a prep school to direct families towards the school which will best suit each child and St Aubyns School have been known for many years in preparing children for British senior schools locally and nationally since 1895. Many of the Common Entrance results were remarkable with results being the best in many years, including A grades in French and A grades in Ancient Greek which three pupils took. This year all of our children passed their entrance exams and gained successful entry to the school of their choice with pupils going to Brighton College, Roedean, St Bede’s, Lancing, Worth, Eastbourne, Lewes Old Grammar School, Lord Wandsworth College and Stanbridge Earls.
Often described as a school with a ‘combination of small classes and a big heart’, St Aubyns School is a family-run Prep School with outstanding pastoral care and personalised learning. Pupils at St Aubyns flourish in all areas from excellent academic studies to sport and the creative arts, including exceptional standards in music and drama. Central to the success of the school is the very low pupil to adult ratio, with a committed team of teachers who are passionate about teaching, nurturing and motivating children.

With exciting developments for the new academic year, St Aubyns are excited to announce that the school has opened two Reception and two Year 4 classes this September. St Aubyns School continues to go from strength to strength and this recent expansion is testament to the strong ethos of the school and success of its pupils.
